About Emirates Autism Center

Emirates Autism Center is a private center specialized in the field of autism, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Its doors officially opened on April 2, 2008, during the 1st Annual Autism Week under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. The center is specialized in autism spectrum disorders and operates year-round with state-of-the-art classrooms specifically designed to meet the sensory and environmental needs of its students. EAC caters to students from 10+ nationalities, with ages ranging from 4-18 years. The center adopts a psycho-education curriculum emphasizing development at the social, psychological and behavioral level. 100% of students are involved in social inclusion programs including recreation, leisure, volunteer and work placement training opportunities. The center was founded by Amal Sabry following her journey with her autistic son, Amr, who became the first autistic person in the UAE to graduate high school following a formal inclusion process and is currently in full-time employment.
