About Al Salam Community School
Al Salam Community School (ASCS) is a British international school in Dubai that evolved from Salam Nursery, founded in 1986, and Al Salam Private School established in 1988. The school follows the National Curriculum for England framework and offers an entitlement curriculum from Foundation Stage through Key Stage 3, with optional pathways at Key Stages 4 and 5. The school is recognized for its inclusive approach and outstanding Islamic values education, as reflected in DSIB inspection reports. ASCS is committed to developing an inclusive learning community where every child is celebrated, with excellence in academics, character development, and a global outlook. The school celebrates diversity, honors UAE and Arab culture, and maintains partnerships with schools on other continents to foster international understanding. The school has received multiple accolades including ALPS Diamond Status (top 1% globally), SEND Inclusion Award (2026-2028), Wellbeing Award for Schools (2026-2028), and BSO accreditation.
