Al Mawakeb Schools

Al Mawakeb schools are managed by AMSI and provide a comprehensive university preparatory education to students of all backgrounds and nationalities. The schools offer a multilingual learning environment with English as the medium of instruction, while students study English, French, and Arabic languages from K-12. Al Mawakeb was founded in 1979 as a private international school and currently boasts a student body of over 7,500 with over 60 nationalities represented across three campuses: Al Mawakeb Al Garhoud (founded 1979), Al Mawakeb Al Barsha (opened 1998), and Al Mawakeb Al Khawaneej (opened 2018). The curriculum is based on Massachusetts State Standards and UAE Ministry of Education, featuring rigorous programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, STEM programs, and an award-winning eLearning platform called LearnOnline. Students receive a high school diploma certified by KHDA upon completing twelve years of education.
