About Abu Dhabi International School
AIS is a private, coeducational K-12 day school licensed by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education. Founded in 1992 by Mrs. Jihan Nasr, AIS is one of the top private schools in Abu Dhabi with a legacy of over 30 years in the field of education. The school has two contemporary campuses in MBZ City and Abu Dhabi City, and is opening a third campus in Saadiyat soon. AIS is an ADEK-rated high performing school with an outstanding ranking and recognition for governance, inclusion program, external program, and college admissions. The school has an international body of students and staff from around 60 nationalities. Between both locations, AIS has approximately 3500 students, with 5% of the student body reserved for special needs students with learning difficulties.
